General
MATLAB EXPO is a technical conference for engineers, scientists, researchers, and educators to hear about industry trends, learn about the latest features and capabilities in MATLAB and Simulink, and network with peers and industry leaders.
MATLAB EXPO will be held November 13–14, 2024, and is an online-only event.
MATLAB EXPO is free. Registration is required to attend.
Sessions will be presented in English.

Attending the Event
The Q&A panel is not active during the plenary sessions.
If you have a question specific to an application area you can check the “People” tab in the “Networking Center” and chat with a MathWorks staff member who has expertise in your area of interest, or visit the relevant booth in the Technology Showcase.
Alternatively, email the MATLAB EXPO mailbox with specific questions that may need follow up (matlabexpo@mathworks.com).
You may type questions to the presenters in the Q&A window at any time during a session.

The chat window allows you to informally comment and connect with other attendees during the session.
The Q&A window allows you to formally send your questions directly to the presenter(s)/moderator(s) panel.
Visit the Networking Center and click on the “My Profile” tab to complete your profile. You can also select your areas of interest, view potential connections with similar interests, and add links to your social media channels.
Once the event has ended, you will receive an email with a link to download your certificate of attendance. (Available for attendees who meet the completion criteria).

Click on the “Contests” tab in the Networking Center. You will see a “Claim” button below any of the contests you have won. Click the “Claim” button to download your background.
Yes, you should be able to join from your mobile device or tablet. Please ensure your device and browser are up to date.
Your current standing is displayed at the top of the leaderboard page with the top 50 attendee scores then displayed below it. You can access the leaderboard in the Networking Center.
Click the CC icon at the top right-hand corner of the video window to enable closed captions and select your preferred display language.

A/V and Technical Issues
You can enlarge the video window by clicking on the “expand” icon at the top right of the window. The main screen will dynamically resize based on the number of engagement modules you currently have open. To maximize the main screen, try minimizing the chat windows, Q&A, polls, and handouts. Use the buttons at the bottom of the screen to restore them.

The video stream will adjust automatically according to your internet speed. There are no manual quality adjustment options available. If you are still experiencing connectivity issues, review these two articles:
During the event, there will be a “Help Desk” page available for questions.
Post-Event
matlabexpo.com/online will be updated with the session PDFs and recordings. They’ll be available within a week and shared with attendees via email.
Only session recordings will be available. Some Technology Showcase presenters may make handouts available to download at their discretion.
